Sports fans can look forward to a very eventful spring and summer of boxing.

Okay, there's no unification match between Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder or the Bronze Bomber taking on Tyson Fury in a rematch, but there are still a fair bit of entertaining bouts to come this year.

In April, Vasyl Lomachenko and Anthony Crolla will trade blows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, while the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City will host the Amir Khan and Terence Crawford bout.

Wilder will defend his WBC Heavyweight Championship against Dominic Breazeale in May, while AJ will be making his debut in the US when he fights against Jarrell Miller in June.

Check out the schedule below.

  • 13th April: Vasyl Lomachenko vs Anthony Crolla
  • 20th April: David Allen vs Lucas Browne
  • 21st April: Amir Khan vs Terence Crawford
  • 27th April: Zolani Tete vs Nonito Donaire
  • 5th May: Canelo Álvarez vs Daniel Jacobs
  • 18th May: Deontay Wilder vs Dominic Breazeale, Naoya Inoue vs Emmanuel RodrΓguez and Josh Taylor vs Ivan Baranchyk
  • 1st June: Anthony Joshua vs Jarrell Miller
  • 15th June: Josh Warrington vs Kid Galahad

Of course, the future is still unclear on who Tyson Fury or Dillian Whyte could be fighting next, which would only spice up this boxing schedule.

While the rest of 2019 is still up in the air in terms of potential matchups, Wilder has suggested that he "can't wait" for a unification match with AJ.

"Oh, man, I can't wait for him either," he said (via Sky Sports), before adding: "I feel the same way about him [that I do Breazeale].

"Four months of negotiations and they knew they didn't want the fight. Stop. What more do I have to do for people?

"I've tried to show people and I'll continue to still prove that I am the best. I'll continue to give people the fights that they want to see. But they got to be in cooperation with my team as well, too.

"Because fighters, I understand, they have choices. They have a choice to make whether to get in there with the man, the myth and the legend.

"I am that man that can knock you out, at any given time, any given round, any given minute, any given second."

Will we see a unification match between AJ and Wilder in 2019?
