It was the one punch that defined Carl Froch's storied professional boxing career. The eagerly-anticipated rematch spilled out of the boxing bubble garnering mainstream attention ahead of their showdown at Wembley Stadium. The biggest fight on British soil was preceded by their epic back-and-forth war in Manchester.

Before Froch and Groves sold out Wembley (If you didn't know) the pair fought out a classic slug-fest. But the Nottingham-fighter ultimately won the IBF and WBA world title bout though in controversial manner after referee Howard Foster stopped the contest somewhat prematurely. The outcome was heavily protested by Groves and his team, as well as by fans and the every corner of the media, creating immediate demand for a rematch.

And it worked. As a result of how their first fight went down, it produced the perfect storm for the rematch billed as 'Unfinished business.' The stage was Wembley Stadium. The first fight to be held at the national stadium since it opened in 2007. The months of barbing, the shove, the rubik's cube culminated on Saturday 31st of May 2014. 80,000 fans flocked to Wembley setting a new attendance record for a British boxing event.

As for the fight. It started fairly slow, both men were cagey before the champion asserted his dominance by commanding the centre of the ring stinging the Londoner with his stiff jab. Then came round 8. Froch uncorked a monster right-hand landing flush on Groves' chin sending him crumbling to the canvas and through the ropes with his knee twisted hideously beneath him.

The memorable knockout proved to be the 'Cobra's' final punch and fight before calling time on his remarkable career.
