Thor Björnsson Finally Reveals What He Told Eddie Hall As Soon As He Won Their Fight

Thor Björnsson Finally Reveals What He Told Eddie Hall As Soon As He Won Their Fight

Björnsson was named winner via unanimous decision.

Hafthor 'Thor' Björnsson has revealed what he told Eddie Hall at the end of their boxing match.

Björnsson defeated longtime rival Hall via unanimous decision on Saturday with all three judges in Dubai scoring it 57-54 in the Icelandic strongman's favour.

The 33-year-old is now the proud owner of the Titan belt and has bragging rights over Hall, settling their blood feud for now.

Speaking on his YouTube channel immediately after the show, Björnsson said: "I’ve moved on, I told him good job, it was a hell of a fight.

"Congrats to him for all the hard work he’s been putting in."

There is a rematch clause in their fight contract and Hall is keen to activate it.

It seems his foe isn't as interested however and wants to move on to the next stage of his boxing career.

"I respect him as an athlete but I just want to move on," he continued.

"Honestly I really wouldn’t want a rematch because I want to move on. I don’t really want to communicate with him.

"We’re not going to be best friends, that’s just a fact.

"But if he wants the rematch I’ll give it to him 100 per cent."

Hall said he wanted to do business once again and accepted his defeat 'like a man' in a video posted to Instagram.

'The Beast' suffered a cut above each eye during the fight and he never fully recovered.

Fans inside the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium were firmly behind Hall, but he couldn't get it done against his much taller opponent.

Björnsson managed to knock Hall down twice and conserve energy, while the Brit attempted to look for a knockout blow throughout.

"It's been a hell of a journey," Hall admitted. "I've enjoyed it. Hopefully there's a rematch and we get to do business again. Just want to wish everyone out there, stay safe, stay positive, keep moving in life and the most important thing is family."

Björnsson's next opponent could come in the form of Martyn Ford, who is also known as the 'World's Scariest Man'.

Ford will face Sajad Gharibi, the 'Iranian Hulk', next month and was in attendance for Björnsson vs Hall.

The actor stands at 6ft 8 inches which is just an inch shorter than Björnsson.
