John Fury, the father of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and unbeaten fighter Tommy Fury, claims he has insured his testicles for £10 million.

The 58-year-old is regularly seen with his sons ahead of their fights, becoming a popular public figure in recent years.

He's known for his outspoken nature and regularly drops sensational soundbites in interviews. This could be the most outrageous yet though.

In a chat with Freebets.com, Fury revealed: "I've insured my nuts for £10 million – believe me there is good stuff that comes out of them.

"I’ve got world champion nuts in these trousers, breed some kings I do. There are only champions coming out of these nuts — it’s been proven hasn’t it?"

Tyson is one of the greatest heavyweights of his era, most recently defeating Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium.

Tommy, meanwhile, is 8-0 and set to return to action next month on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather vs Deji.

Roman Fury also made his professional debut at the weekend in a winning effort.

Fury added: "Words cannot express how proud of Tyson and Tommy and all my family I am. I feel like I’m a world champ sometimes."

Tyson is expected back in the ring at the end of this year. All signs pointed to a Battle of Britain with Anthony Joshua, but talks stalled.

Reports suggest Tyson could take on Derek Chisora in Cardiff in December.

In an interview with Behind The Gloves, he backed up his father's recent investment, adding it was a shrewd one to make.

'The Gypsy King' said: "He insured them because that sperm produced the heavyweight champion of the world and it’s very valuable.

So, if anything happens to him, even at his age, he could still extract a few champions out of those, so we'll see.

"Imagine this guy puts a load of swimmers in test tubes and freezes them and sells them, this is the proper half-brother of 'The Gypsy King' Tyson Fury the heavyweight champion of the world, this potentially could be our next champion, so it’s worth a fortune.

"See me, I’ve become heavyweight champion, but I’ve never produced a heavyweight champion."

Tyson did retire from boxing back in April, but reversed his decision to 'save' the division after Joshua was beaten by Oleksandr Usyk.
