Tyson Fury's hilarious reaction to claims that Anthony Joshua is better than Deontay Wilder

Tyson Fury's hilarious reaction to claims that Anthony Joshua is better than Deontay Wilder

The one-liner left the entire studio in stitches.

It's good to have Tyson Fury back.

The Gypsy King left an entire radio studio in stitches for his hilarious yet brilliant response to claims that Anthony Joshua is better than Deontay Wilder.

Heavyweight world champion Fury came out on top in his trilogy with Wilder, putting their rivalry to bed by KO'ing the American heavy-hitter in their third and final bout.

Now Fury, completely backflipping on his retirement call, has his sights set on AJ in what promises to be arguably the biggest fight in British boxing history.

That said, nothing has been confirmed yet as both parties are going back-and-forth in contract talks as we speak.

So to shed light on the negotiations, Fury called up popular radio station talkSPORT.

Fury did reveal that he'd tabled a 60/40 purse split off, which has now reportedly been accepted by Joshua, but it was his exchanges with host Simon Jordan that were simply box office entertainment.

At one point, Jordan made the bold claim that AJ was a better boxer than Wilder, but Fury simply wasn't having it and issued a hilarious one-liner response.

"Excuse me," Fury said after hearing Jordan's comment.

To which Jordan replied: "Come on, Tyson. He's better than Deontay Wilder."

With sincerity in his voice, a confused Fury asked: "Who is this speaking? Is this Simon Jordan speaking?"

"Yeah it is, yeah," Jordan said.

And as the studio went silent, Fury produced the knockout blow.

"Behave yourself, Simon!" Fury yelled in his deep, husky voice.

The one-liner gave fellow hosts Jim White and Danny Murphy a tickle, both men laughing out loud.

Jordan, clearly unamused that he'd be called out, was insistent upon quizzing Fury further.

"You think Joshua is better than Wilder?! Wilder KO's AJ inside two rounds. So how can he be a better fighter, tell me that," Fury added.

To which Jordan responded: "Well I''m asking you because your expertise are far more compelling than mine."

But again, Fury landed the killer blow, simply saying: "Yes, exactly."

It's not the first time the 'Gypsy King' has dialled into talkSPORT, appearing a few weeks back to tell the panel that he wanted half-a-billion dollars to come out of retirement.

At the time, a biblical second coming seemed way out of the question.

But now, with talks well underway, it doesn't appear too inconceivable.
