Law professor and long-term colleague of late Mino Raiola, Rafaela Pimenta, helped negotiate Erling Haaland's move to Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund, according to a new report.
The Premier League champions have confirmed the Norway international's arrival on a five-year contract for a reported fee of £51 million.
After conducting talks with Haaland's representatives for months amid stiff competition from Real Madrid, City have found a suitable replacement for club legend Sergio Aguero and have brought in one of the deadliest forwards in world football.
After failing in their long-drawn pursuit of Tottenham talisman Harry Kane last summer, City managed to retain the Premier League for the second time under Pep Guardiola in the absence of a natural striker in their ranks.

However, the signing of Erling Haaland will give Manchester City and Pep Guardiola a different dimension in attack and aid their pursuit of a maiden Champions League title next season.
A new report has revealed how a previously unknown figure in the public light helped conducted negotiations on behalf of Haaland's camp with officials at the Etihad Stadium.
As reported by Adam Crafton of The Athletic, aside from Erling Haaland's father Alf-Inge, who played for Manchester City between 2000-03, Brazilian lawyer and professor Rafaela Pimenta negotiated the finer details of the forward's move to the Etihad Stadium.

It has been revealed that as Raiola's health worsened in the spring, it was Pimenta who held key discussions with City executives on the phone, via email and in person as she flew into Manchester at key points during talks.
Haaland was officially unveiled as a Manchester City player earlier this week and is expected to make his debut for the Premier League champions on their pre-season tour of the United States in July.
