How A Former Manchester United Star May Help Erling Haaland Settle In At Manchester City

Erling Haaland will arrive in East Manchester soon, with a former Manchester United star set to lend a hand in his settling-in process.

Despite a host of the European elite set to go big in the ongoing window, Erling Haaland’s switch to Manchester City is undoubtedly the biggest transfer of the summer.

For starters, one of the two standout young superstars in world football has joined Pep Guardiola’s side in the most globally watched league.

Aside from that, as the Norwegian goalscorer’s coup spells an end to the Sky Blues’ striker woes, fans of all clubs are eager to see the heights an already magnificent City side will reach with such a clinical finisher at their disposal.

As a result, it is natural that expectations are sky-high for the £51 million man to contest for the Golden Boot and lead his side to glory next term.

Keeping that in mind, fresh details have emerged about how the youngster plans to settle into his newfound surroundings as quickly as possible.

According to a report by Sun Sport, it is understood that Haaland is considering the purchase of former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba’s mansion in Cheshire.

The former Borussia Dortmund talisman shares the same management team with the Juventus-bound superstar, which explains why the house in Hale Barns is said to be one of the first properties he has looked at.

Further details claim that the Frenchman’s property is worth a staggering £3 million, while also available to rent for a hefty £30,000-per-month.

Additionally, the five-bedroom house consists not only of a gym, heated swimming and sauna but an indoor pitch that is referred to as the ‘P.P Arena’.

The specially designed pitch boasts of mini goals, an electronic scoreboard, LED lighting and the World Cup winner’s customised logo on the centre circle.

It has also been mentioned that Haaland’s father, Alfie alongside his management team viewed the flamboyant property alongside three other mansions.

Unsurprisingly, Pogba’s former colleagues in Victor Lindelöf and Eric Bailly also live nearby.

With the French international set to sign for Juventus, it is likely that the former RB Salzburg striker may have to fork out a whopping figure to buy the house on a permanent basis.

However, a source mentioned in the report states that Pogba would be ‘happy’ to rent the property as well.

Ultimately, a top professional such as Haaland needs no lessons on creating conditions that are conducive for success.

City fans will hope their latest recruit gets into the groove of things as quickly as possible as all eyes are on the youngster to cause mayhem in sky blue.

Arriving with an incredible goalscoring pedigree, Haaland will want to get off the mark as soon as possible.

It is likely the first time he'll be donning the Sky Blue shirt will be against Club América in City's first pre-season friendly in just under a months time.
