Two people have been killed amid chaotic celebrations following Pakistan's victory over Afghanistan in the cricket T20 Asia Cup semi-final.
Geolive reports that two Pakistani supporters had been shot as fans were firing into the air while celebrating in the streets following the matchup.
Police say the aerial gunfire injured three women while also killing the two victims instantly.

The report claims 41 people were arrested by police for their involvement in the incident.
The actions outside mirrored ugly events inside the Sharjah International Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.
Pakistan had qualified for the final of the tournament after a dramatic ending to the match saw them defeat Afghanistan by one wicket.
The final moments of the matchup became incredibly intense after Afghanistan bowler Fareed Ahmed and Pakistan batter Asif Ali came face to face after the latter’s dismissal.
After Ali had top-edge a ball to the short-fine leg, Ahmed came streaming down the pitch and screamed in the batter’s direction.

Ali shoved the bowler in response, with Ahmed giving back some choice words in the batsman’s direction.
Ali raised his bat at Ahmed which prompted the Afghanistan fielders to rush in and separate the pair before things turned even uglier.
However, the tense moments clearly boiled over to the supporters watching in the stands as footage emerged of incredibly alarming scenes.
Spectators had turned on each other in the wake of the tense situation on the field and began hurling chairs at one another.

Video shows fans ripping seats out of the ground and throwing them at others, while some used the chairs as direct weapons to batter fellow spectators.
Former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar took to social media to slam the Afghan fans and urged the Afghanistan Cricket Board chief Shafiq Stanikzai to take action.
He tweeted: "This is what Afghan fans are doing.
"This is what they've done in the past multiple times.

"This is a game and it's supposed to be played and taken in the right spirit.
"Shafiq Stanikzai your crowd & your players both need to learn a few things if you guys want to grow in the sport."
Unfortunately, the anarchy seemed to have boiled over to the streets resulting in two tragic deaths.
