Former PDC darts world champion Gerwyn Price has launched an astonishing rant after withdrawing from his match against Brendan Dolan at the halfway mark.
Price, along with a group of elite players, has been competing in the Players Championship 1 in Wigan.
He beat both Karel Sedlacek (6-5) and Matthew Dennant (6-2) but after trailing 4-2 in his round of 16 match against Dolan, Price decided he had enough.
The Welshman abandoned his encounter with Dolan at the Robin Park Tennis Centre and later took to Instagram stories to slam the competition, branding the conditions "pathetic" and "less than amateur".

The Iceman vented: "Absolutely pathetic conditions. Travel all the way to Wigan to play in a professional game and we have to play in less than amateur conditions.
"Never have I ever given a game up. Well that's me out of tomorrow as well.
"Gutted because my game was really good today and I rely on these events so much."
Price, who had averaged 110 in his second round clash, is now expected to return to the oche in Glasgow when night three of the Premier League darts tournament takes place on Thursday.

He is therefore set to miss Players Championship 2 on Tuesday.
The former rugby player did not go into detail on what issues he had with the conditions, but Dartsnews.com cited the cold temperature as a potential factor.
There were plenty of talking points in the tournament, namely a shock 6-0 whitewash defeat suffered by world number one Luke Humphries.

The Newbury-born thrower only lifted the World Darts Championship last month but was not at the races and managed an average of 81.4 against the world number 64 Ian White.
However, Luke Littler, the young 17-year-old prodigy who Humphries beat in the final at Alexandra Palace, continued his fine form with wins over Luke Woodhouse and Michele Turetta.
He also produced yet another stunning nine-dart finish.
