An update has been provided regarding the investigation into allegations of "inappropriate behaviour" by Red Bull team boss Christian Horner.
Earlier in the month, it was reported that Horner has been accused of “inappropriate, controlling behaviour” by a female colleague.
According to Dutch news outlet De Telegraaf, Red Bull said: “After the company was made aware of certain recent allegations, an independent investigation was launched.

“This process, which is already ongoing, is being carried out by an external, specialised lawyer. The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practical. It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time.”
Horner has also publicly said: “I completely deny these claims.”
Last week, it was claimed that Horner is not "expected to survive at Red Bull" following the investigation.

Speaking on the matter, Sky Sports’ Craig Slater has given a brief update on the situation, claiming that Horner is expected to be at Red Bull’s 2024 car launch this Thursday.
He said: “He is under investigation and he is continuing in his job, at the moment it is business as usual is the message I’m getting out of Red Bull Racing so he has been in the factory over the last few days.
“He is at the Silverstone circuit today, where the car is having its shakedown so he is carrying out his duties as team principal and chief executive and I also do expect him to be at the launch of the team’s car on Thursday.”
Slater continued: “But I think the key point to make about this is that we have to separate what’s going on with the F1 team and the F1 schedule of events, with the season drawing close and this investigation into allegations of inappropriate behaviour which we understand a female member of staff has made about controlling and potential coercive behaviour which Christian Horner denies.

“That will follow its own timescale and I’ve been reporting consistently that it could take some weeks and might even stretch into the Formula 1 season before that investigation is concluded and I’ve heard nothing to change that potential timescale.”
The 2024 F1 season will begin with the Bahrain Grand Prix in March.
