The 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ended in the most dramatic fashion possible, as Max Verstappen clinched the F1 Drivers' Championship following a final lap shootout over Lewis Hamilton.

It is a storyline which will spark plenty of debate for many years to come, with Mercedes now accepting the controversial end to Sunday's race.

Of course, it wasn't the only storyline from the season's final grand prix, as George Russell was forced to retire in his final race for Williams.

Meanwhile, it was also an early end to Kimi Raikkonen's final-ever race in his Alfa Romeo car - the 349th grand prix in a long and distinguished career.

One man who had a unique view of how the action unfolded was Charles Leclerc, who finished tenth, but the main talking point surrounding the Ferrari driver was his use of a helmet camera in the race, as reported by GiveMeSport.

The footage from the race has been doing the rounds on social media, and gives F1 fans an incredible insight into what it's like to be involved in the frenetic experience of a race.

It makes for some riveting viewing, and gives you a glimpse of what the drivers have to experience for some 70 laps or so.

The video gives you a much greater experience of what the drivers have to go through, and the incredible levels of skill involved to keep control of car driving at such high speeds.

Hopefully we can see more of this sort of footage when the new F1 season begins in Bahrain on 20th March.

If there are as many twists and turns when the action unfolds again in the spring, then we're in for a treat.
