F1 star Fernando Alonso has responded to claims that he was referenced in Taylor Swift’s new album.

Formula 1 star Fernando Alonso has responded to fans’ claims that he was referenced in Taylor Swift’s new album.

On Friday, Swift’s much anticipated new album titled ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ was released.

After listening to the tracks in the new mixtape, F1 fans were quick to claim that Swift referenced Alonso in her song ‘imgonnagetyouback’.

Before getting with NFL star Travis Kelce, there were rumours that Swift and Aston Martin driver Alonso were dating.

When asked about the Swift rumours, Alonso said last year: “No, no, no. I have nothing to say mate. I answered already.”

In Swift’s new song ‘imgonnagetyouback’, F1 fans’ claims came from the lines: “Small talk, big walk, act like I don't care what you did I'm an Aston Martin that you steered straight into the ditch.

“Then ran and hid. And I'll tell you one thing, honey. I can take the upper hand and touch your body. Flip the script and leave you like a dumb house party. Or I might just love you 'til the end (Ah-ah-ah).”

In response to those claims, Alonso was featured in a TikTok video posted on Aston Martin F1’s official account.

Alonso was seen putting his finger to his lips whilst Swift’s song was playing in the background. You can watch the footage below.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: “Wait..... did they actually date then?”

Another tweeted: “FERNANDO ALONSO WHAT DID YOU DO TO TAYLOR SWIFT.”

A third fan added: “Not Taylor Swift making an Aston Martin reference after rumors about her dating Fernando Alonso last year. I’m cackling & I know Nando is too.”

After qualifying in third place for Sunday’s Chinese Grand Prix, Alonso said: “We didn’t give up, we kept pushing all through the lap and we set a good lap time. I think the car did improve since this morning, we made a few set-up changes, and let’s see tomorrow if we can translate that into points.”
