Arsenal fans have voted AFTV as the worst thing to ever happen to the club, pipping the unbeaten run coming to an end and the 2006 Champions League final defeat.
The fan channel, set up by Gunners fan Robbie Lyle and boasting over 1 billion views, has become one of the biggest in the game and the go-to destination whenever Arsenal get beat.
The post-match interviews with fans and personalities have regularly produced meme gold but not without controversy.
The channel had to change their name on the request of Arsenal due to the negativity surrounding it and the majority of Arsenal supporters do not endorse the platform.
BritishGambler.co.ukΒ conducted a survey of 2,001 Arsenal fans to get their true opinion and the results were quite something.
82.1%Β went as far as saying that they want the fan channel to cease to exist, with more than 50% believing the organisation's emergence is the worst thing to happen to the club in the past 20 years.
That percentage is higher than votes on losing the Champions League final to Barcelona (14.1%), Stan Kroenke taking over the club (8.2%),the Invincibles' undefeated streak coming to an end (6%) and Robin van Persie joining Manchester United (5.4%).
Last year, founder Robbie had a heated debate with Arsenal legend Ray Parlour - with the former midfielder claiming AFTV want the team to lose to get more views.
On Monday, it was confirmed that AFTV regular DT, real name Liam Goodenough, has had a 12 month prison sentence tripled.
Goodenough was found guilty of stalking, assaulting and kidnappning his former partner, as well as being handed a 10 year restraining order.
The decision was the referred to the Court of Appeal under the Unduly Lenient Sentence (ULS) scheme, by the Solicitor General, and saw the sentence extended.
According to an article on the Government's website, DT had stalked his former partner as she went on a date and took a photo of her in a state of undress whilst also assaulting her current partner.
Furthermore, he sent her brother messages threatening to commit suicide.
AFTV said the 42-year-old had not been a contributor from July 2021 onwards and "will be offered absolutely no place" on the channel going forward.
"This morning we have been made aware of news regarding DT, who was a regular contributor on AFTV until July 2021," a statement read.
"We are utterly appalled and disgusted by his actions and totally condemn domestic abuse or violence of any kind.
"DT had made us aware of personal issues in his life, however we can unequivocally say that the extent of the information made public by the government today is new to us.
"DT appeared on AFTV on 1st Jan when the severity of his legal case was unbeknownst to us. The recent developments come as a complete shock to all at AFTV.
"In light of the shocking news, DT will be offered absolutely no place on the channel again."
