Manuel Akanji was 'done dirty' by Sky Sports' pre-match graphic and everyone noticed it

Fans noticed Manuel Akanji's body on Sky Sports' graphic line-up.

Manuel Akanji was 'done dirty' by Sky Sports' pre-match graphic and it didn't go unnoticed among fans online.

Pep Guardiola started Akanji at the back alongside John Stones, Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake for their Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace.

But it appears Sky Sports don't have a graphic for the Swiss defender when revealing the line-ups ahead of kick-off.

That's judging by his picture on the line-up graphic for today's league match at Selhurst Park.

Sky Sports unveiled Man City's starting XI which included Akanji's face supposedly on Bernardo Silva's body, sending social media into overdrive.

One Twitter user wrote: "Akanji's picture on the Sky Sports Line-Up," accompanied with a a loudly crying face emoji.

A second wrote: "Please tell me someone has a picture of Akanji on the Sky Sports lineup graphic."

A third joked: "Nah man, why does @SkySports keep doing Manuel Akanji durty???"

A fourth commented: "WHAT WAS THAT FOR AKANJI SKY SPORTS."

A fifth said: "He is Bernardo Akanji."

Another joked: "They did Akanji dirty ffs."

Akanji joined the Blues last September from Borussia Dortmund in a transfer worth £15 million.

He clearly arrived after Sky Sports could get a hold of his body for their pre-match graphics.
