Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been spotted training with a Premier League rival during the summer break.
The Ox posted a photo to his Instagram page of him working out with Leicester City’s James Maddison.
The Liverpool midfielder is currently training under the advice of sports specialist Alex Parsons, who also looks after other top clients such as Maddison, Henderson and Danny Ings.

Parsons works with these players to maintain their strength and athleticism in their breaks from football, aiming to develop their fitness before they head back to training.

The 2021/22 season was not kind to Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The England international only played in 17 Premier League matches, with 8 of these appearances coming from the bench.
From these games, he only managed to grab himself 2 goals and 1 assist, making it clear to see why Klopp began to leave him off the matchday squad towards the latter end of the season.

With this poor run of form, it was initially rumoured that the England forward would leave Anfield this transfer window.
Liverpool looked set to bring in some new midfielders, and AOC would be deemed surplus to requirements.
However, after Liverpool forked out such a significant fee for new signing Darwin Nunez, it does not look like Klopp will have the budget to enhance his midfield.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looks set to remain at Anfield, and will no doubt be fighting for his place in the squad.
