Alphonso Davies has openly explained the downsides of being a professional footballer at the top level.
Born in a refugee camp in Ghana, Davies has gone on to win multiple Bundesliga titles and the Champions League with Bayern Munich.
He's also in line to play for Canada in the World Cup later on this year. But while Davies lives a charmed life and is paid incredibly well, he admits that he doesn't have too many friends and often gets bored after training.

"Life as a professional footballer is very cool, no doubt," Davies began on his Twitch stream.
"To chill and enjoy life. But after training, there's nothing to do.
"For me, because I don't have a family and my girlfriend not living with me, I'm by myself.
"It's a little bit worrying not having something to do and especially when all your friends have work. I probably have like five friends. I'm a popular loser."

Davies recently confirmed his break up from long-time girlfriend Jordyn Huitema, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain's women's team.
The pair have deleted their joint YouTube channel and removed any pictures from their Instagram feeds.
Davies was also quick to deny rumours about any unfaithfulness on Jordyn's part.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote: Yes Jordyn and I have parted ways. The rumours about her are not true.
"She is a good person I have a lot of respect for her. I wish her the best and ask everyone to respect our privacy."
In his spare time, Davies posts plenty of FIFA content on his Twitch channel - while more recently he's released a rap track with trio 'Stugang'.
The former Vancouver Whitecaps man is accompanied by Alexis Fambo of SV Heimstetten and 1860 Rosenheim's Stephan Menseh in the collective and the track 'Nur Weil’, which translates to 'Only Because', has racked up 89,000 views.
His bars in the song include "getting that paper" and "sipping henny" but also contain lyrics referencing his manhood and guns, which caused a stir.
