Amine Gouiri's Assist For Nice Was Absolute Sorcery And The Fan Footage Is Insane

Already on the scoresheet, Amine Gouiri twisted and turned players inside out before setting up Kasper Dolberg.

Amine Gouiri of Nice produced the filthiest assist of 2022 last night and it makes for even better viewing in footage filmed from the stands.

The Ligue One side beat amateur side Versailles 2-0 in the French Cup semi-final at the Allianz Riviera, with Gouiri opening the scoring just after half-time.

But it was his assist for Kasper Dolberg that really caught the eye. Gouiri picked up the ball and was seriously in the mood down the left flank.

He rinsed no less than three players in a scintillating sequence.

There was a bit of good fortune in how the ball came back to Gouiri to begin with but then it was all about the sheer skill from the 22-year-old.

He produced an outrageous turn that saw him spin two defenders and then end another career by putting the ball through another opponent's legs.

Instead of going alone, he unselfishly laid the ball off to Denmark striker Dolberg, who doubled Nice's lead and sealed passage to the final for Christophe Galtier's side.

Fan footage of the goal has gone viral on social media, racking up over one million views. The TV footage is fine of course but it's the recording from the stands that really does it justice for how wondrous the piece of play was.

Gouiri is one of the most exciting French talents around at the moment and has scored 12 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions this season.

His quality last night secured a first Coupe de France final appearance since 1997 for Nice when they won the trophy.

They will play either Nantes or Monaco at the Stade de France. The two play tonight in the second semi-final.
