Antonio Conte spotted on Ryanair flight as Tottenham future remains uncertain

Footage has emerged of the Italian manager on a Ryanair flight during the international break.

Antonio Conte has been spotted on a Ryanair flight as speculation over his future at Spurs continues to swirl.

The Italian is set to be sacked from his role at the Premier League club this week, according to talkSPORT, who suggest Ryan Mason will take over for rest of the season.

The report goes on to claim that Conte has “totally lost the dressing room" and it's "only a matter of time" before his short reign in North London comes to an end.

It comes after Spurs squandered a 3-1 lead to draw with struggling Southampton last Saturday, which caused the former Chelea boss to go on a verbal tirade during his post-match press conference.

"They don’t play for something important," he said. "They don’t want to play under pressure, they don’t want to play under stress.

"It is easy this way. Tottenham’s story is this. For 20 years there is the owner, but they never won something but why?"

Days after his remarkable rant and Conte has returned to his family home in Italy, with footage of his alleged journey emerging on social media.

He gave his players and staff two days off after the draw to bottom of the league Southampton at the weekend.

Conte's decision to publicly criticise the board and his players hasn't gone down well at the club.

In fact, a number of Spurs players are said to be 'stunned' by his actions and there are a 'few players' who want him relieved of his duties before their next league game against Everton on April 3.

The 53-year-old slammed his "selfish" players during the post-match press conference,

“We are 11 players that go into the pitch," Conte said. "I see selfish players, I see players that don’t want to help each other and don’t put their heart (in)."

He added: “Until now I try to hide the situation but now, no, because I repeat I don’t want to see what I’ve seen today because this is unacceptable and also unacceptable for the fans.

“They follow us, pay the ticket and to see the team another time to have this type of performance is unacceptable. We have to think a lot about this.”
