Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel RED CARDED after final whistle of Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur

Unreal scenes at Stamford Bridge.

A frantic ending led to both Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte being red carded after the final whistle at Stamford Bridge.

It was a fiery affair between London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, and it ended chaotically after Harry Kane headed in a last gasp equaliser for Conte’s side.

When the final whistle went, both managers shared a frosty handshake that quickly erupted into chaos as Conte and Tuchel refused to let go of each other’s hands.

Both managers had to be separated by club staff as the crowd roared on the melee.

According to Sky Sports Journalist Ben Grounds, Conte was telling Tuchel ‘what do you want?’ repeatedly during their full time altercation. Both managers were shown a red card as a result of their heated exchange.

One fan was not happy with the managers' behaviour, the fan said: "These managers are shameful. The pair of them should be banned for weeks. You just can't do this and expect your players or fans to behave. Are you children? Thomas Tuchel is 48. Antonio Conte is 53. This behaviour is beneath them."

Chelsea went 1-0 ahead in the first half after a stunning volley by summer signing Kalidou Koulibaly

Spurs then equalised in the second half through Pierre Hojbjerg. Conte and Tuchel went head to head after the Spurs equaliser, with the Chelsea boss unhappy over a potential foul on Kai Havertz in the build up to the goal. Both managers were shown a yellow card after their first altercation.

Chelsea then went back in front in the 77th minute through Reece James, Tuchel channelled his inner Jose Mourinho during his celebration as he produced a marauding run down the touchline.

However, the drama was only just starting as Kane glanced in a corner in the 96th minute which sent the Spurs fans into ecstasy.

Tempers then flared at full time between Tuchel and Conte, a tremendous football match had its dramatic ending on the weekend the Premier League celebrated its 30th anniversary.

After the game, Kane spoke about the red cards that followed the final whistle.

He told Sky Sports: "It's disappointing to see the red cards, I didn’t see what happened. Obviously it was an emotional game, London derby, the passion from both sides, both teams wanted to win. That’s sometimes what happens in these games."

Chelsea boss Tuchel then had his say on the incident, he said: "I thought when we shake hands you looked in each other eyes, he he had a different opinion. It was not necessary but a lot of things were not necessary."
