Man United fans loved Bruno Fernandes' gesture.

A fan has captured Antony's stunning goal against Barcelona from the stands, with Manchester United supporters all noticing what Bruno Fernandes did during the celebration.

Antony came off the bench to score his side's winner against Barca to secure their spot in the next round of the Europa League.

He finished off a brilliant team move with a composed strike in the 73rd minute, sparking wild scenes inside Old Trafford.

As the Brazilian winger wheeled away in celebration, Fernandes told him to celebrate in front of the fans - something he did with Jadon Sancho last weekend.

Man United fans loved the Portuguese' gesture, hailing his leadership qualities on social media.

One Twitter user wrote: "Bruno always leading the goal scorer to go make it worthwhile, he’s always there, that’s shows how involved he always is in our attack."

A second tweeted: "I’ve noticed how Bruno always points to the crowd telling the players to go celebrate with the fans."

A third added; "Bruno gave him the way to go celebrate lol someone mentioned this attribute about Bruno after Leicester game."

A fourth said: "Loved every Bruno moment here. Even when he shows Antony which side to celebrate and lets him have his big time."

A fifth commented: "Look how Bruno gives the scorer space to celebrate! Skipper!"

Another wrote: "Bruno telling him to celebrate with the fans first! My captain!"

Antony's introduction in the second-half turned Man United's fortunes around, with Paul Scholes praising Erik ten Hag's substitutions.

"United were really flat in the first half, they needed something to get them going," he told BT Sport.

"To be fair his [Ten Hag] substitutions have made a huge difference to the performance, and it didn’t really matter who made the difference, Antony did that and came up with a fantastic goal as well.

"That’s something [Antony] is really good at. They needed someone to run in behind today, United, in that first half they didn’t have it. As soon as he came on in the first minute of the second half that’s exactly what he did."

Scholes continued: "All of a sudden, the left-back’s worried because he doesn’t know if he’s got to come short or spin in behind, so he has to stand off him a little bit. That’s where Antony comes into his own, because he can create space on that left-hand side."
