TalkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor branded Antony a "bluffer" and took aim at the Manchester United star over his spin skill move.

Gabby Agbonlahor brutally pulled no punches towards Antony after he mocked the Manchester United star’s spin skill on live radio.

Antony was reunited with former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag last summer after United splashed out a hefty £85m to sign him from the Dutch side.

The 22-year-old Brazilian winger has been heavily criticised for his lack of impact at United in his debut season after his big-money move from Ajax.

Antony hasn’t been afraid to show off his showboating at Old Trafford, despite facing criticism over his struggles at United.

The former Ajax star produced his trademark spin skill during United’s 3-0 Europa League win over Moldovan side Sheriff at Old Trafford last October.

Antony received the ball and pulled off a 360 spin before playing a sloppy through ball towards United teammate Casemiro.

The Brazil international was slammed for what many dubbed as a pointless skill move, with Antony subbed off by Ten Hag at the break.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor branded Antony a “bluffer” during his scathing rant and brutally called him out over his United stats.

The Aston Villa hero also took the opportunity to mock Antony’s spin skill with his rendition in the studio, which was met with laughter on live radio.

“Manchester United, for me, have looked better since Erik ten Hag has come in,” Agbonlahor said.

“They’ve done better in the last few months. But when I look at Antony…

“There have been a lot of big transfers in the Premier League, [but] £86m… I think he’s a bluffer. When he gets the ball, he doesn’t take players on [and] he hasn’t got the speed to take players on.

“In 11 league games, he’s got three goals, no assists. Four Carabao Cup games, one goal, no assists. Two FA Cup games, one goal, one assist. That’s one assist in all competitions.

“He doesn’t do what [Marcus] Rashford does. Rashford gets the ball [and he’s] direct, takes players on, gets balls into the box. And the big thing for me is his number of crosses. He’s put in one and a half crosses per game.”
