Ben White's awkward relationship with football has been brought into the limelight again with new footage of him discussing his favourite part of the day convincing fans of his difficulty in engaging with the sport.
Since signing for Arsenal from Brighton and Hove Albion in a deal worth £50 million last summer, White has developed into one of Mikel Arteta’s regulars.
This season, the 25-year-old has played an important role in the Gunners’ charge for the Premier League title.
Despite being a star player in one of the biggest teams in the world, some fans are convinced White doesn’t actually like football. You can watch the footage below.

White, along with January signing Trossard was being asked what their favourite part of the day was.
The presenter asked: “What is the favourite part of your day?”
Trossard joked: “When he is back home from training.”
White went on to say: “Probably training, not all the stuff before.”
At this moment, Trossard’s face was a picture as he reacted to White’s answer.
Fans were quick to react on social media.
One said: “Trossard knows White hates football.”
Another tweeted: “Trossard said "bro, be for real.”
A third fan added: “Don't say that on camera? He clearly hates football.”
Someone else wrote: “Tried hard to find that politically correct answer.”
Whilst a fifth commented: “Trossard face hahaha.”
Previously, White was asked about Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira and watching football when he was younger, he said: “No I never watched football when I was younger, still don't now. I just loved the game, I was always playing it - never watching it. So I don't know too much about older generations.
“I know [Vieira] was a very good player. But I wouldn't know the details. I'm quite busy, I'm always doing something. I watch myself for analytical reasons. I watch England, maybe. I just wouldn't just sit down and watch a game.”

Arsenal are on course to claim their first Premier League title since the 03/04 season. Currently, they are sitting top of the table with 57 points, two points ahead of Manchester City with a game in hand.
With his side still in the Europa League, Arteta spoke about the challenge of managing his squad.
The Spaniard said: “We’re going to have much less time to train and recover.
“I’m sure we’re going to have to share many more minutes around the squad, which is great because we’re going to have to give opportunities to everyone.”
Can Arsenal sustain their Premier League title bid? Only time will tell.
