Arsenal Eyeing Two Real Madrid Forward To Replace Alexandre Lacazette

Arsenal Eyeing Two Real Madrid Forward To Replace Alexandre Lacazette

The Gunners are set to lose their striker for free next summer but could swap him in January, and they've got their eyes on two Real stars.

Alexandre Lacazette could be used to in a swap deal for one of two Real Madrid forwards, as Arsenal look to avoid losing him for nothing.

Lacazette's contract expires next summer, when he'll be allowed to leave the club for free, and there's no offer forthcoming to extend his deal in north London.

The striker may have left in the summer, when he was linked with move away from the Emirates Stadium, with Barcelona reportedly interested.

In January clubs outside of England will be able to offer him a pre contract agreement to join for nothing next summer, but Arsenal are eyeing up a potential swap move.

According to Defensa Central, the Gunners are hoping to tempt Real Madrid into a crazy swap deal for former Tottenham Hotspur forward Gareth Bale.

The Welshman left north London in 2013 but was back there last season on loan to Arsenal's biggest rivals, where he had somewhat of a renaissance.

The 32-year-old has been used by Carlo Ancelotti more than predecessor Zinedine Zidane did and has started three games for Los Blancos so far this season.

However, with his contract expiring at the end of the season as well, Bale is unlikely to remain at the Bernabeu past the upcoming summer.

In order for Arsenal to make the highly unlikely signing, the four time Champions League winner would have to take a huge pay cut.

As well as a potential, and ridiculously unlikely, swap for Bale, Mikel Arteta's side are also eyeing a move for another Real forward to replace Lacazette.

According to Fichajes, the Premier League side are considering a move for former Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic, who has struggled since his move to La Liga.

With Real hoping to sign both Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland next summer, and Mohamed Salah also on their radar, they will need to offload some players.

Jovic is unlikely to get much game time under Ancelotti even before any huge signings and is likely to leave next summer to free up funds.

The Serbian wants to leave the club 'as soon as possible' and the Gunners could make a move for him January if the money is available to Arteta, even if it's initially on loan.
