Kit season is upon us and Footy Headlines have 'leaked' what the likes of Bukayo Saka could be wearing soon.

Arsenal have become notorious for producing vibrant and bold designs down the years - plenty of which have become associated with the club's glory years.

However, in a new age of talented youngsters, Adidas look set to roll back the years, using gold detailing in a nod to Arsenal's 2005/2006 kit.

The iconic maroon shirt was worn by the likes of Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp, and marked the end of the Gunners' reign at Highbury.

In contrast to the 2005/2006 design, however, the Adidas jersey has white sleeves and uses a deeper red colour as its base.

Meanwhile a striking gold zap resembling lightning adorns the back of the collar, accompanied by several more jagged lines across the entire back of the shirt.

Arsenal fans will hope the gold theme is reflective of their finishing position this season, as they spy their 13th domestic title.
