Everything you need to know about Arsenal vs Liverpool

The ninth round of the 2022/2023 Premier League campaign sees Liverpool head south to face league leaders Arsenal, in what is already a crucial game in this year’s title race.

The Gunners head into this afternoon's clash in first place, and their fans have been in dreamland so far this season after seeing their side pick up 7 wins in their first 8 games, with their most recent three points coming against their North London rivals Tottenham.

The summer signings of Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Fabio Viera, alongside the reintroduction of William Saliba into the first team, has turned Arsenal’s fortunes around, and they look set to finish in the top 4 this year after narrowly missing out last season.

Liverpool haven’t experienced quite the same joy so far this campaign, and the Merseyside club sit in 10th place heading into today's encounter.

After only picking up two wins in the Premier League as of now, the Reds have come into the firing line of fans and pundits alike, but Klopp will be hoping his team can turn around their form and pick up three points against a strong Arsenal outfit this afternoon.

Arsenal vs Liverpool Team News:

Mohammed Elneny and Emile Smith Rowe remain sidelined with their respective injuries.

Liverpool are still expected to be without midfielders Arthur, Jones, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita.

They will also still be missing their talismanic left-back Andrew Robertson, as the Scotsman isn’t expected to be fit for another week.
