Incredible tactical breakdown explains why Arsenal are so good under Mikel Arteta

Arteta has turned his side into Premier League league leaders with some extremely smart tactical tweaks that plays to his side's strengths.

Mikel Arteta has turned fortunes around at Arsenal, and now new insight into the manager's tactics has shone a light on why, it makes for interesting viewing.

Life at the Emirates Stadium has been completely turned upside down by Arteta, who could be on the way to leading Arsenal to their first league title in nearly 20 years.

Before the season started, no one could have seen it coming, especially after the Gunners through away a top four finish last year, ending up behind rivals Tottenham Hotspur after imploding late on in the campaign.

The All or Nothing documentary series didn't paint the former Manchester City assistant in the greatest light, with fans mocking his 'inspirational' methods, such as sitting the players around a lightbulb.

But clearly, there's more to the manager than just the fluff, with a really excellent analysis of his tactics going viral, and you can see why in the video below.

The other stuff, including having "You'll Never Walk Alone" pumped into a training session didn't look good on the documentary as the team lost, with the game at Anfield going to Liverpool 4-1.

But in recent times it has gone hand-in-hand with winning, such as the recent away win at Fulham, in which the team were later pictured with a giant clock in the away dressing room.

It was eventually revealed that it's part of Arteta's plan to turn away games into feeling more like home matches, with the clock replicating the one at the Emirates.

There was also posters stuck up around the dressing room and the team try to replicate what they do at home games as much as possible.

It's difficult to argue with the Spaniard's methods at the moment, with the team riding high at the top of the league, with just 10 games left of their campaign.

The Gunners are currently eight points clear of Manchester City, though Pep Guardiola's side do have a game in hand of the league leaders.

They must travel to the Etihad Stadium in April, with only five games left once they've got that match out of the way, and their advantage means they can lose that game and still win the title.

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O'Hara thinks they'll throw away the league around that time though, with a home game against Chelsea and an away visit to Newcastle United following the City match.

Gunners' fans are also now worrying that they'll be affected by the newly minted "Kim Kardashian curse," after the social media star was present at the club's Europa League elimination to Sporting.
