Arsenal and other interested clubs have been told the asking price to sign Celta Vigo starlet Gabri Veiga this summer, according to a new report.
The 20-year-old has broken into the Vigo starting lineup on a regular basis this season, netting eight goals from 22 La Liga appearances, with a further three assists to his name.
He was described as a 'superlative player' by Spanish newspaper La Vos de Galicia after he scored twice and provided an assist in Celta's 3-0 win over Real Valladolid on February 26.

Veiga was named the La Liga player of the month for February, an indication of the strength of his performances this term.
And those performances have alerted top clubs, with the Gunners among the teams said to be keen on signing him this summer.
An aggressive attacking midfielder who likes to run with the ball and play key passes, Veiga is a well-rounded player who would certainly suit Mikel Arteta's system at Arsenal.

La Liga expert Terry Gibson recently explained on the La Liga Weekly podcast that Vigo will find it hard to keep the talented midfielder this summer, especially after he was called up to the Spain squad for the upcoming set of senior international matches.
Now, the Gunners have learned how much they will need to pay to sign Veiga.

Veiga has a release clause included in his current contract, which runs until the end of 2026. Under Spanish regulations, all players have a release clause - although it is not necessary to trigger that fee in order for a sale to occur.

However, according to journalists Matteo Moretto and Oscar Mendez, writing for Spanish outlet Relevo, Vigo are insistent that interested clubs must pay the €40 million release clause in Veiga's contract to sign the 20-year-old.
It is claimed that they will not negotiate a lower fee. However, that could still prove to be a bargain for Arsenal, given the midfielder's already impressive goal output and displays at such a young age.
But the same source claims that Manchester United and Newcastle are tracking Veiga, and that the three clubs named have sent scouts to watch the midfielder.
The Gunners could have plenty of competition should they decide to launch a bid this summer.
