Arsenal Player Laughs At Tottenham Hotspur Fan For Pre Match Abuse

Arsenal Player Laughs At Tottenham Hotspur Fan For Pre Match Abuse

Two players were just checking the pitch a long time before kick off in the north London derby, when one Spurs fan tried to abuse them.

A Tottenham Hotspur fan tried to abuse Aaron Ramsdale and Ben White ahead of the huge north London derby on Thursday, but simply got laughed at.

Rarely has a north London derby mattered so much to both teams as the game on Thursday between Mikel Arteta and Antonio Conte's sides.

A win for hosts Spurs would see them get right back into the race for the fourth and final Champions League spot, whilst a win for Arsenal would eliminate their rivals from the race.

As if the game needed any more spice, the two sides were initially meant to meet in January, before a controversial delay due to Covid 19, something that really angered Spurs.

Maybe that's why one home fan decided to attempt to wind up Ramsdale and White as they took a walk out on to the pitch long before kick off, but instead just ended up getting laughed at, after appearing to shout 'every runner is a Gunner,' as they headed down the tunnel.

The decision to wind, of all people, Ramsdale up seems like a particularly poor one, seeing as the former Bournemouth goalkeeper seems to enjoy the 's***house' side of the game.

He recently gave it back to Chelsea fans after Bukayo Saka's penalty, in a recent victory in another important London derby, although it was nothing on his moment with Ruben Neves.

The Wolves midfielder had complained earlier in the season about Gunners players 'celebrating like they'd won the league' after a win against the Midlands club.

Having won the second game, Ramsdale made sure to celebrate wildly right in front of the Portugal midfielder, just as a little reminder.

And that's the man you want to try and wind up?!
