Arsenal have golden transfer opportunity with target Leroy Sane 'already commuting to London'

This could reignite their interest.

Arsenal have been presented with a golden opportunity to sign Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane.

The 27-year-old was absent from his side's training sessions during the international break last week due to his long distance relationship with American model Candice Brook.

It has since come to light that Sane was visiting his partner and children in England, according to German news outlet Bild, after being left out of Hansi Flick's Germany squad.

Brook allegedly 'no longer wanted to live in Germany' and returned to England where she splits her time between London and Manchester, where Sane played for Pep Guardiola's City before moving to Bayern.

His complicated family circumstances has left Sane having to regularly commute back and forth between the two countries.

Whilst Arsenal may use his situation as an opportunity to reignite their pursuit of the winger.

Sane to Arsenal?

Sane was linked with a move to the Emirates before the World Cup, as Mikel Arteta hunted a new wide player to help ease the workload on Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

The Gunners made an enquiry into the player's availability, according to 90min. However, Bayern were against letting Sane leave mid-season.

Arteta opted to sign Leandro Trossard instead, who has hit the ground running in north London.

Although the Arsenal boss is allegedly keen to add a new winger to his ranks this summer in order to help cope with a busy European schedule next season, with a top four finish all but guaranteed.

Following reports, the Premier League leaders may rekindle their interest in Sane, offering him a permanent solution to reunite with his family in London.

Indeed, Bild claim that the winger is feeling lonely in Munich without his family and is unable live in his house because it is undergoing repairs.

Whilst his lack of goals could prompt Bayern into a summer sale. Sane has struggled to have a real impact since the World Cup, only managing three goals since returning from Qatar.
