Arsenal have made contact with Ajax over the possible signing of Ghana star Mohammed Kudus amid his impressive displays at the 2022 World Cup, according to reports.
Kudus is currently shining for the Black Stars in Qatar, with Ghana in second position in Group H following their entertaining 3-2 win over South Korea on Monday.
The Ajax star netted twice in that game, helping his nation to their first victory in this year's World Cup.

Speaking after the game on Ajax's official social media channels, club team-mate Calvin Bassey described Kudus as a 'star boy' who is 'on fire' at the World Cup.
His domestic form has also been strong, with the 22-year-old netting five goals in 14 Eredivisie appearances.
But it is in the Champions League where he has caught the attention the most, with four goals and two assists in six group stage appearances, including strikes against Liverpool and Napoli.
According to Football365, a total of 12 clubs are interested in signing Kudus in January or in the summer. But Arsenal may have stolen a march on at least most of their rivals.

90min report that Arsenal are one of three Premier League clubs to make contact with Ajax and enquire about whether they can sign Kudus in January.

It is claimed, however, that the Dutch giants' previous valuation of £30 million for the player has doubled, due to his performances this season and his current long-term contract.
Kudus' deal expires in the summer of 2025, having signed a five-year contract when he joined the club in 2020.
As well as the Gunners, it is also claimed that Newcastle and Spurs have made enquiries about acquiring Kudus, who will, for now, have his full focus on helping Ghana to qualify for the knockout stages of the World Cup.
They will do so if they defeat Uruguay in their final group stage game, as the current Black Stars contingent looks to at least emulate the 2010 side's run to the quarter-finals.
