Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has refused to rule out bringing Jack Wilshere back to the club after the player left Bournemouth over the summer.
The 29-year-old who made 197 appearances for The Gunners after rising through the ranks at the club under Arsene Wenger, winning two FA Cups.
Arteta is an admirer of Wilshere, having played alongside him at the Emirates Stadium. Wilshere has returned from a spell training with Serie B side Como where Dennis Wise is part of the technical staff and the Spaniard has welcomed his former teammate back to London Colney base.

Arsenal currently sit rock-bottom of the Premier League after three games and whether Wilshere will take this opportunity to train and possibly earn himself a short-term contract back at the club he loves, remains to be seen.
Wilshere, regarded as a possible future England captain, was in the national team set up for Euro 2016 but more injuries saw him struggle after leaving Arsenal. He joined West Ham before moving to Bournemouth in the Championship were he played more consistently.
He is part of a generation of midfielders who didn't sustain their promise at the top showing how difficult it is. Ravel Morrison and Ross Barkley are other examples were it looked like they would be mainstays for club and country.
Arteta has been frustrated by his side's lack of presence in midfield. They welcome back Thomas Partey for this weekend's match against Norwich on Saturday afternoon and its one the manager feels he must deliver.
