Carlo Ancelotti Let Eder Militao Be His Real Madrid Assistant For A Day, The Lad Loved Every Second Of It

Carlo Ancelotti Let Eder Militao Be His Real Madrid Assistant For A Day, The Lad Loved Every Second Of It

Militao even had a look at Los Blancos' tactics sheet.

Carlo Ancelotti hilariously let Eder Militao join him on the Real Madrid bench ahead of their game with Levante and he really enjoyed it.

Los Blancos have La Liga wrapped up and with a Champions League final against Liverpool on the horizon, Ancelotti decided to rotate his side on Thursday evening.

Militao was given the night off and Jesus Vallejo took his place in the starting XI. If you think he did no work, think again.

Footage from before the game has emerged and Ancelotti asked the defender to take a seat next to him at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 24-year-old jumped at the chance, planting his backside right next to 'Don Carlo'. Just watch the video above then tell us that's not the biggest grin you've seen all weekend. We'll wait.

Militao was then handed a folder which appeared to contain information on Levante and how Real will set up for the game.

He turned to Ancelotti and the pair engaged in conversation after closing the folder.

Real would run out 6-0 winners thanks to goals from Ferland Mendy, Karim Benzema, Rodrygo and a Vinicius Jr. hat-trick.

Does that mean Militao has a 100% win ratio as assistant manager? We'll let you be the judge of that.

Fans have reacted to the footage and they think it's the funniest thing they've seen all weekend.

One commented: "Nah this time of the season feels like the end of a school year. Just messing around with the boys."

Another said: "The vibes are so clear here lol."

A third put: "So wholesome man I love them both."

While someone tweeted: "Ancelotti be like, 'come here, you will understand football by force'."

Real know they'll have to be at their best to beat Jurgen Klopp's men in two weeks time, but Ancelotti has already explained how his side will set up.

"4-3-3," the 62-year-old told AS when asked about a formation. "Sometimes it can happen to a 4-4-2. I think there is no defined system, sometimes to press the pivot, as we did against the City, you go from 4-3-3 to 4-4-1-1.

"The idea doesn't change much, just a little the way to defend the opponent, to pressure them."

Real beat Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City en route to the final in a gruelling run.
