PSG finished second in their group, with Manchester City topping the French giants, and it was the draw all of the top seeds wanted to avoid.
United were initially drawn with Villarreal, as someone messed up the draw, which wasn't actually possible because they'd face the Spanish side in the group stages.
As well as the meeting between Ronaldo and Messi, there is a lot of recent history with the two sides, with United knocking PSG out at the same stage in 2019, which led to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's permanent appointment.
They met again last season in the group stages, with United winning in Paris before losing at home and eventually being knocked out.

There is also the added narrative of the English side reportedly interested in appointing PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino as their manager at the end of the season.
The rest of the Premier League teams will surely be a lot happier with their draws, with City being paired with United's Europa League final tormentors from last season.
Liverpool will also be pleased, after being paired with Red Bull Salzburg, who are playing in the last 16 for the first time, and the Reds met the Austrian side two seasons ago, when Erling Haaland was still with them.

Champions Chelsea were in risk of getting a tricky tie after finishing second in their group, after drawing with Zenit St Petersburg on Matchday Six, but will be extremely happy to have got Lille, with the French champions currently seventh in Ligue 1.
Atletico Madrid, who only just made it through to the knockout stages, got Bayern Munich in the draw, the other highlight of the last 16.
