Former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys believes Chelsea should have considered appointing Emma Hayes over Frank Lampard.
Lampard was appointed interim Chelsea manager until the end of the season on Thursday after the club sacked Graham Potter.
The Blues legend returns to Stamford Bridge just over two years after he was sacked from his first spell in charge of the club.

He went on to become manager of Everton before he was dismissed back in January after a poor run of results left them battling relegation.
The appointment came as a surprise to many including former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys who was quick to react on social media.
He believes Chelsea Women's manager Emma Hayes should have been considered for the role.
Keys, who's known for being outspoken, now works in Qatar after resigning from Sky Sports in 2011.
What did he say?
Posting on Twitter, Keys said: "In this rash of managerial changes I wonder how many BAME candidates have been interviewed? My guess is none.

"And was Emma Hayes considered at Chelsea? Itβs her club as well & sheβs had more coaching success than the new men's coach."
Hayes has led Chelsea Women to five Women's Super League titles in her 11 year spell at the club.
She's admired by many and some fans even called for her to manage the men's team after a video of a powerful speech she gave to her players back in January.

Her credentials are great but the transition from the WSL to the Premier League would be a huge one.
Chelsea are also currently battling to retain their league title and have progressed into the semi-finals of the Women's Champions League, so why would she leave now?
