Cristiano Ronaldo 'wants to leave Al Nassr' just months after joining

Cristiano Ronaldo 'wants to LEAVE' Al Nassr and make a big return to Europe, according to stunning reports.

Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in January 2023 following the termination of his Manchester United contract.

The 38-year-old penned an extremely lucrative deal, signing a contract until 2025. He earns a reported £173 million-per-year, but he appears set to walk away from his monstrous package.

According to a report from Spanish outlet El Nacional, Ronaldo wants to leave Saudi Arabia and is ready to return to one of his former sides.

It's claimed that the Portuguese superstar could head back to Real Madrid for a non-playing role in the shape of an ambassador.

El Nacional write: "Florentino Perez has guaranteed that [Ronaldo] will not lack work at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"But, obviously, he wouldn't do it to be a player, because he considers that it is a cycle that should be considered closed."

The former Juventus man has only been at Al Nassr for five months, scoring 12 goals in 15 games for the club in all competitions.

But he could bring an end to his spell in the Middle East as he reportedly plots a move back to Europe, where he enjoyed so much success as a player.

The potential of leaving Al Nassr comes after there were calls for Ronaldo to be 'arrested and deported' following an obscene gesture.

A Saudi lawyer claimed to have submitted a lawsuit after his actions following his team's defeat to Al Hilal.

"The Lawsuit has been submitted to the P.P. against Cristiano. We will keep you informed of the case," the lawyer wrote on Twitter.

"It is considered a crime of public dishonour, and it is one of the crimes that entail arrest and deportation if committed by a foreigner."

The club, however, defended Ronaldo, saying: "Ronaldo is suffering from an injury. A duel with Gustavo Cuellar (Al Hilal) started with Ronaldo being hit in a very sensitive area. This is confirmed information. The fans may think what they want."
