Cristiano Ronaldo 'will end up on I'm a Celebrity' if he continues ruining his football career

Cristiano Ronaldo has been told he'll end up a contestant on 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' if he continues to make enemies in football.

The Manchester United forward's box-office interview with Piers Morgan has been the talk of social media, with excerpts dropping throughout the week.

He's already blasted members of the United hierarchy, as well as manager Erik ten Hag, who he feels 'betrayed' by.

Ronaldo also went in hard on former teammates Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville, who he claimed are not friends.

The 37-year-old appears to have severed all ties with United in an attempt to seal a transfer away in January.

Ronaldo attempted to leave the club in the summer in search of Champions League football. No suitable offers arrived, which forced him to stay at Old Trafford.

Simon Jordan believes Ronaldo is in danger of alienating himself with his recent comments.

He told talkSPORT: "Ultimately, Cristiano Ronaldo will be in grave jeopardy of coming out of this in the wrong way.

"People will look at it the wrong way because he already has that this feels like a player very much like a player wanting to get out of something.

"This guy is getting drunk on his own recognisability and he’ll end up in the bloody jungle with Matt Hancock in a year's time if he carries on in this way. I look at it and find it disappointing because he is a wonderful player."

Ronaldo's full interview will air on TalkTV on Wednesday and Thursday. Morgan has promised it's the 'most explosive' of the Portugal international's illustrious career.

Ten Hag is privately furious with Ronaldo's comments and believes he shouldn't represent the club again.

Just nine days ago, Ronaldo was handed the captain's armband for a 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa.

ESPN report ten Hag held a meeting with co-chairman Joel Glazer, chief executive Richard Arnold and football director John Murtough on Monday. He went as far as delaying his holiday to resolve the issue.

Ronaldo is currently away with Portugal for the World Cup. Fernando Santos' side kick-off their campaign against Ghana on November 24.
