Cristiano Ronaldo has left Manchester United after the Premier League club agreed to terminate his contract.
Ronaldo, 37, leaves Old Trafford more than six months before the end of the two-year deal he signed with United in 2021.
The Red Devils have opted to cut ties with the Portugal international in the wake of his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
In the interview, Ronaldo accused United of "betraying" him, admitted he did not respect his manager Erik ten Hag and attacked other senior figures at the club, including its owners – the Glazer family.
Sporting favourites to sign Ronaldo
According to odds released by SkyBet, Ronaldo's boyhood club Sporting Lisbon have emerged as favourites to sign the striker.

The Portuguese side are 7/4 to sign Ronaldo, who played for the club before first joining United in 2003.
Meanwhile, Premier League rivals Chelsea are second-favourites with odds of 5/2.
The Blues were linked with a summer move for Ronaldo but pulled out of negotiations, amid reports former manager Thomas Tuchel was reluctant to sign the Portugal international.
A move to any MLS club is deemed the third most likely scenario for Ronaldo.
Inter Miami, LA Galaxy and LAFC have all been linked with a move for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
Ronaldo to join Messi at PSG?
Bayern Munich are next on the list with odds of 7/1, while a remarkable move to PSG - which would see Ronaldo link up with his rival Lionel Messi, has been given odds of 10/1.
A return to another of his former clubs, Real Madrid, is also 10/1, while a move to Italian side Napoli is deemed the least likely of his main options at 14/1.
Ronaldo: I still love United
Ronaldo, who is currently away on international duty with Portugal at the World Cup, is yet to speak about his next move but issued a public statement following his departure from United.
"Following talks with Manchester United, we've mutually agreed to end our contract," the statement reads.
"I love Manchester United and I love the fans, that will never ever change.
"It feels like the right time to seek a new challenge. I wish Man Utd all the best."
