Cristiano Ronaldo 'rejected' by English club amid Al Nassr exit rumours

Cristiano Ronaldo’s future with Al Nassr has been the talk of the town in recent weeks

An English club have publicly rejected Cristiano Ronaldo after reports of uncertainty around the Portuguese’s future with Al Nassr.

Ronaldo joined the Saudi Arabian club in January after his second stint with Manchester United ended bitterly.

The Portuguese’s contract was mutually terminated after his explosive interview with Piers Morgan, in which he blasted the club, former managers and ex-teammates.

To date, Ronaldo has made 15 appearances for Al Nassr, scoring 12 goals.

Despite making a decent start to life in the Middle East, things have been tough for Ronaldo and Al Nassr in recent weeks.

They were knocked out of the Kings Cup and lost ground in the race for the Saudi Professional League title.

As a result, there have been reports that Ronaldo is seeking a move away from Al Nassr, with his partner Georgina Rodriguez reportedly eager to return to Madrid.

After those reports surfaced, one English club have already pulled out of the race.

Non League sponsors Vanarama tweeted an edited picture of Ronaldo wearing a Bromley shirt, with a caption that read: “It's not too late if you want to play in white next season, @Cristiano.”

However, Bromley were quick to reply to the tweet, they wrote: “Nah, you're alright.”

Fans were quick to react on social media.

One said: “Don’t blame you after the season you’ve had.”

Another tweeted: “We gonna talk about rejections then nothing's more brutal than this.”

A third fan added: “I agree, not good enough for Bromley, you can do better.”

Someone else wrote: “LOOOOL W from the best team In the division.”

Whilst a fifth commented: “When Bromley don’t even want you. Then you really are finished.”
