A Croatia defender was transfer listed after having sex on the pitch with a Playboy model

"It was very naughty.”

Former Croatia defender Dino Drpic was once transfer listed by Dinamo Zagreb after his then-wife admitted the couple had sex in the centre circle.

Drpic made one appearance for his national team and plied his trade with Zagreb back in 2009.

His wife at the time, Nives Celsius, appeared on a Serbian talk show according to the Daily Star and detailed their experience.

She revealed the pair had enjoyed some alone time on the Stadion Maksimir turf and stated: "Dino had arranged that people should turn on the stadium lights for us and he finally fulfilled his dream of having sex in the middle of a football pitch. It was very naughty."

Celsius is a former Playboy model and works as a singer and actress in Croatia. Word quickly got back to Zagreb officials who were left furious at the revelation.

Drpic was transfer listed after the interview's release and then joined German outfit Karlsruher on loan in January 2009.

The deal was made permanent the following summer and Drpic never played for Zagreb again.

Drpic had spells in Greece, Ukraine, Croatia once again and Brunei before calling time on his career in 2013.

He and Celsius were married between 2005 and 2014. The couple have two children together.

The 40-year-old was a decorated player at Zagreb and managed to win five league titles and six Croatian cups in eight years.

He made his sole appearance for Croatia under Slaven Bilic in 2007, in a friendly against Slovakia.

Football officials take their pitches being used for lewd activities very seriously. Just ask the Rostov Arena director.

Pavel Gavrikov was reportedly let go in 2020 after allowing an 'erotic photo session' to take place at the home stadium of FC Rostov.

He allegedly let semi-naked models to pose in the stadium for an ad campaign.

The shoot took place in September 2020 and images circulated across social media.

Per RT, sources claim Gavrikov's firing was linked to "pornographic photo session at the stadium and a huge scandal after one of the pics leaked on social media despite the governor's instructions to prevent provocative photos from going online."

Reports claim the models were originally meant to wear swimsuits, but instead turned up with lingerie for the shoot.
