David Beckham has waited 12 hours to see the Queen lying in state

David Beckham has joined thousands of people queuing to see Queen Elizabeth II lying in state and he's been there for 12 hours.

The former England captain confirmed to Sky News that he joined the queue at 2am on Friday morning, with many not recognising him until the afternoon.
Fans took selfies with Beckham which reportedly brought the queue to a standstill.
He then apologised for any disruption caused.
Beckham told reporters: "This day was always going to be a difficult day. Our thoughts are with the family, it's very special to hear all of the stories from people here.
"The most special moment for me was to receive my OBE. I took my grandparents with me who were huge royalists.

"I was so lucky that I was able to have a few moments like that in my life to be around Her Majesty.
"It's a sad day, but a day to remember."
The 47-year-old made 115 appearances for the England national team, playing at five major international tournaments.
Beckham was appointed an OBE in 2003 for his services to football.
The United Kingdom entered 10 days of mourning last Thursday (September 8) following the Queen's death, aged 96.
Last week, Beckham shared a tribute to Instagram and commended the 'love and respect' show in the year of her Platinum Jubilee.
"I'm truly saddened by the death of Her Majesty, The Queen. What an outpouring of love and respect we saw for the Platinum Jubilee for her life of service," he wrote.
"How devastated we all feel today shows what she has meant to people in this country and around the world. How much she inspired us with her leadership.
"How she comforted us when times were tough. Until her last days she served her country with dignity and grace.
"This year she would have known how loved she was. My thoughts and prayers are with our Royal Family."
