Incredible footage emerges of David de Gea's 's**thousery' right in front of Leeds fans in Man United win

David de Gea didn’t hold back with his celebration directly in front of Leeds fans after Alejandro Garnacho scored Manchester United’s second at Elland Road.

The Red Devils travelled to Leeds’ stadium on Sunday for their second consecutive fixture against their rivals after a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford last week.

United broke down a resilient Leeds side late in the second half as in-form England forward Marcus Rashford opened the scoring in the 80th minute.

Only five minutes from Rashford’s superb opener, Erik ten Hag’s men sealed all three points after Garnacho buried a stunning strike past Illan Meslier.

One fan recorded footage of an ecstatic De Gea charging back into his box and repeatedly fist-pumping after Garnacho scored for United.

“I would love to celebrate like this in front of my enemies,” one fan said in response to the footage.

A second simply commented: “You love to see it.”

“Nah, he’s a legend for this. Proper s**thousery,” another fan tweeted.

While a fourth added: “Definitely my new voicemail.”

And a fifth Twitter user posted: “We need more ‘keeper celebration cams all around the league, [to be honest].”

De Gea made his 400th Premier League appearance for United and he equalled Peter Schmeichel’s Red Devils clean sheet record of 178.

“Today wasn’t about that, it was about winning the game and we did it so now I can enjoy the 400 Premier League games,” he told Sky Sports after the match.

“It’s great to come here, play like we did today. Clean sheet, three massive points and 400 games [is the] perfect day.”

De Gea added: “You saw how much it meant at the end of the game.

“The fans, the players. We deserved to win at home [on Wednesday] but today we did.

“Great game, we knew if we could keep a clean sheet we would win the game so we did it.

“We fought until the end like a team. Players like Harry [Maguire], he has not been playing as much as he can.

“He played today and he played fantastic so that means that the team is playing strong.”
