England vs Iran takes place in the 2022 World Cup today, and we have all you need to know ahead of the match, including the UK start time.
Gareth Southgate's Three Lions will be looking to kick off their World Cup in the perfect fashion against Iran, who they have never faced in a recorded competitive fixture.
They are managed by former Manchester United manager Carlos Queiroz, who took charge of the nation's senior team following his departure as Egypt head coach earlier this year.
England go into the tournament as one of the favourites to lift the World Cup, despite a mixed run of form in the Nations League this year.
But their recent record in major tournaments stands them in good stead, with last year's path to the Euro 2020 final preceded by a semi-final appearance at the 2018 World Cup.
Here's how you can watch the Three Lions get their 2022 journey underway:
England vs Iran: What is the UK start time?
England vs Iran will kick off at 1pm UK time (4pm local) on Monday, November 21 at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha for both sides' opening games of the 2022 World Cup.
The other match in the opening round of Group B will also take place on Monday, with a start time of 7pm UK time at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan.
England vs Iran: What TV channel will the game be on, and how to watch?
England vs Iran will be broadcast live on BBC One in the United Kingdom, with coverage starting from 12pm UK time.
Gary Lineker will be presenting the coverage, with Guy Mowbray and Jermaine Jenas on commentary duty. The on-screen pundits are yet to be announced.
