England v United States takes place at the 2022 World Cup on Friday. Here is the key information ahead of the match, including how to watch.

England take on United States in the 2022 World Cup on Friday. Here is the key information you need to know ahead of the match, including how to watch the game.

Gareth Southgate's Three Lions won their first game of the tournament, defeating Iran 6-2 on Monday.

Jude Bellingham opened the scoring in the first half, before goals from Bukayo Saka (x2), Raheem Sterling, Marcus Rashford and Jack Grealish.

England, therefore, go into the game against USA with plenty of confidence, despite a fitness scare to Harry Kane after he took a knock to the foot in the Iran game.

On Thursday, Southgate confirmed that his star striker would be ready for Friday's clash: "Harry is fine. He has worked slightly separately from the group, but all good for Friday night.

"He had a scan [on Wednesday] to make sure everything is fine."

USA, meanwhile, recorded a 1-1 draw against Wales on Monday, after taking a first-half lead through Timothy Weah's low strike.

Gareth Bale scored a penalty to secure a point for his nation.

Gregg Berhalter's side will hope to put themselves in a commanding position in Group B with a positive result against England, while Gareth Southgate's side will qualify for the knockout stages with a win.
