Jamie Redknapp has caused a stir with his comment about Erling Haaland prior to Manchester City's visit of Leeds United at the Etihad Stadium.
Redknapp was talking up Haaland after he broke the record for the most goals in a Premier League season against West Ham on Wednesday.
The unstoppable Norwegian notched his 51st goal in all competitions and made it 35 in 31 games in the league - usurping both Alan Shearer and Andy Cole - and earning a guard of honour from his teammates as a result.
Haaland is already an absolute box office sensation of the age 22 and Redknapp described him as "the first genuine superstar we've had".

The former Liverpool and Spurs midfielder did elaborate on his view but fans were staggered that he said such a thing when huge names like Thierry Henry, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Mo Salah have all played in the English top flight.
One fan replied: "Is Thierry Henry a joke to you?"
Another opined: 'The Premier league has been littered with superstars from many teams. Henry, Bergkamp, Ronaldo, Shearer there’s too many to mention, yes he’s very very good, but not the only one."

Another stated: "This might be the worst opinion all season."
A fifth tweeted: "Suarez was a superstar. Hazard was a superstar. Mo Salah is a superstar."
