Details on how to live stream Everton vs Liverpool

Everton welcome Liverpool to Goodison Park this afternoon ahead of this seasons' first Merseyside derby.

Both sides have endured similarly poor starts to the new Premier League campaign.

Everton are currently without a win, but have seen a slight upturn in form in recent weeks, drawing their last three games.

A victory in what is set to be a fierce contest would be the perfect way for Frank Lampard’s side to kick start their season.

That said, Liverpool will be desperate for three points in this one, especially if they are to mount a title challenge this season.

They already sit 5 points behind Man City and 7 behind league leaders Arsenal.

Following their last gasp victory against Newcastle on Wednesday, Reds fans will hope today’s derby will be a little less stressful.

Here’s everything you need to know about Everton Vs Liverpool.

Everton Team News

Frank Lampard’s injury concerns have not lessened in the slightest this week with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Andros Townsend, Ben Godfrey, Yerry Mina, Abdoulaye Doucoure, and Mason Holgate remaining side-lined.

The Everton squad has been boosted by a couple of signings though, with Neal Maupay in line for his first start after his switch from Brighton.

This one will likely come too early for Idrissa Gana Gueye though after he re-signed for the Toffees on deadline day.

Liverpool Team News

As for Liverpool, they’ll be without club captain Jordan Henderson, with the Englishman the latest Reds midfielder to join the club’s injury list.

However, on a more positive note, Jürgen Klopp will be able to welcome Darwin Nuñez back into the fold with his 3-match suspension now complete.

Diogo Jota could also make his first appearance of the season after overcoming his hamstring injury.
