Sergio Aguero has apologised to Manchester City fans after his failed Panenka penalty against Chelsea stopped Pep Guardiola's team winning the Champions League on Saturday.
City fans waited outside the Etihad Stadium ahead of kick off on Saturday evening, as they anticipated celebrating a title win after the game.

It looked like Guardiola's team would do enough to take all three points just before half time. Firstly Raheem Sterling gave the hosts the lead on 44 minutes, after Aguero's terrible first touch inadvertently became an assist.
Whilst the Argentina striker nearly messed up the first big chance of the game, he truly messed up the second one just moments later.
In injury time City won a penalty, when Billy Gilmour fouled Gabriel Jesus, and Aguero stepped up to take it. The 32-year-old, who will leave City at the end of the season, took one of the worst Panenkas ever, chipping straight to Edouard Mendy.
After the game, with City having eventually lost, the former Atletico Madrid striker took to social media to apologise for his error.
Guardiola looked annoyed at Aguero's decision to Panenka the penalty, but after the game he was far more reflective. "It's his decision," the former Barcelona boss told Sky Sports, "The taker makes the decision. I always tell him take one decision and take it fully convinced.

"He tried to do it this way. Nothing to add."
The home side were looking good at half time and a 2-0 lead surely would have led to them winning the league with still three games to go.
Instead Chelsea came out with renewed hope after the break and looked a much better team, with Hakim Ziyech equalising not long after the hour mark.
Marcos Alonso scored a winner in the 92nd minute, to boost Chelsea's chances of finishing in the top four, but the finish was not without controversy.

City felt Kurt Zouma had fouled Sterling in the box, with the score still 1-1, but the referee failed to award the spot kick and VAR didn't overturn it, much to the annoyance of the former Liverpool winger.
Speaking about the incident after game, Guardiola said, "It's a penalty. That's all. It happens, it's football. We will try next time to score our penalty. That's all I can say. I saw on the TV it was a penalty."
City still only need two more points to secure their fifth Premier League title and could be crowned champions if Manchester United fail to beat Aston Villa on Sunday.
