Fan Creates Tier Of Last Summer's Best And Worst Premier League Transfers

March might be a bit too early to be handing out awards but one fan has ranked last summer's Premier League transfers, and how they're doing this season so far.

It's fair to say that when the league returns after the international break, that we're no doubt all very excited for, it'll be the 'business end' of the season.

Manchester City and Liverpool have nine games to decide who will be the league champions, those at the bottom have a similar amount of games to save themselves and there might still be a scrap to decide who finishes fourth, if Arsenal mess it up.

But whilst there is a break, it's as good a time as any to look way back to August, when all teams were full of hope, summer signings had just been made and we all wondered who would be the best one.

One fan has created a tier maker, ranking the summer signings from 'Signings of the season' to 'Flopped so far,' with an Arsenal trio leading the way.

Signings of the season: Ben White, Martin Odegaard, Aaron Ramsdale, Marc Cucurella, Marc Guehi, Michael Olise, Tino Livramento, Jose Sa

Very good: Takehiro Tomiyasu, Max Cornet, Ibrahima Konate, Armando Broja, Cristian Romero, Dennis, Kurt Zouma, Rayan Ait Nori

Decent: Kristoffer Ajer, Demarai Gray, Dan James, Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane, Joachim Andersen, Danny Ings, Samir

Meh: Albert Sambi Lokonga, Nuno Tavares, Vitaliy Mykolenko, Boubakary Soumare, Patson Daka, Joe Willock, Josh Sargent, Odsonne Edouard, Moussa Sissoko, Nikola Vlasic, Trincao

Flopped so far: Romelu Lukaku, Saul Niguez, Jack Grealish, Junior Firpo, Jannik Vestergaard, Milot Rashica, Ozan Kabak, Bryan Gil, Emi Buendia, Emerson Royal, Leon Bailey

A cynic might suggest that there is a little bit of bias towards Arsenal on the list, and it could play into the study that the Gunners have the most deluded fans.

That said, there's no doubt that Mikel Arteta has done a good job with his side this season, and White, Odegaard and Ramsdale have certainly played well for the north London side.

Jadon Sancho's place on the list of 'flopped so far,' could seem a little harsh to some, especially as the Manchester United forward has certainly improved in the past two months, but Gareth Southgate might be inclined to agree.
