Fans Think Aleksandar Mitrovic Trolled Cristiano Ronaldo With Coca-Cola Can

Fans Think Aleksandar Mitrovic Trolled Cristiano Ronaldo With Coca-Cola Can

Mitrovic scored the winning goal for Serbia to knock Portugal down to the World Cup qualifiers and fans think he trolled Cristiano Ronaldo.

Aleksandar Mitrovic was accused of trolling Cristiano Ronaldo with a Coca-Cola can, after the Serbia striker's goal stopped Portugal qualifying for the 2022 World Cup.

If there's one thing Ronaldo hates more than losing it's fizzy drinks. The Manchester United forward has previously revealed the fact he hates that his son drinks them.

Then in the past summer, the Portugal forward was in the headlines for moving two bottles of cola during Euro 2020, rather than allow it to be in front of him during a press conference.

That stunt actually hit Coca-Cola hard, with the company reportedly being hit by a $5.2 billion dive off their stock price, but now Mitrovic may have got revenge for them.

The Serbia striker scored a late winner on Sunday night, as his side faced Portugal, to earn his country a place at next winter's World Cup in Qatar, the Ronaldo's side now having to face a play-off.

Following the game, Mitrovic was recorded celebrating the win and fans think that he was trolling the five time Ballon d'Or winner with a drinks can.

Seeing the man who has halted his dreams of playing in a fifth World Cup finals, which could still be restarted, will only serve to anger Ronaldo more.

The 36-year-old was spotted chatting with his national team manager Fernando Santos after full time and he clearly wasn't happy with the man who took the team to their Euro 2016 success.

On top of that, a group of Serbia fans joined in to do the United player's famous SIUUUU celebration.

As Sunday nights go, it wasn't exactly the perfect one for the men's international top goalscorer, at least he can go back to Old Trafford now where things are going much better.
