Fears That Ben Chilwell Could Be Out For Rest Of The Season After Injury Vs Juventus
| Last updated
Ben Chilwell limped off during Chelsea's win over Juventus on Tuesday night, and there are fears the full back could be out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.
Chelsea have been impressing all season but they really showed their credentials as potential back-to-back Champions League winners against Juve.
The Blues handed the Old Lady their biggest ever loss in the tournament, as Trevoh Chalobah, Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Timo Werner all scored in a 4-0 win.
There were plenty of positives for Thomas Tuchel's side but there was also one negative, as Chilwell had to be helped off the pitch by two physios.
Footage from the moment the former Leicester City man went down doesn't make for good viewing and there's a chance he'll miss the rest of the season.

The 24-year-old was an unused member of England's Euro 2020 squad last summer and then returned to Stamford Bridge to find Marcos Alonso ahead of him in the pecking order.
He has since forced his way back into the first team in west London and has picked up from his impressive form at the end of last season.
According to the Telegraph, Chilwell is certain to miss the rest of the calendar year, with his injury expected to keep him out for four to six weeks, but Chelsea are waiting to find out if it could be longer, should he have injured his ACL.
That type of injury usually takes around nine months to fix, and would mean that the full back misses the rest of Tuchel's attempts to win the Premier League.
Speaking after the match, the Chelsea manager certainly didn't put fans at ease, admitting he's worried about the defender. "It worries me because he was in such a fantastic moment like Reece on the other side," the German said in an interview.
"They were in the best shape they could possibly be, so strong, full of confidence and such a lot of quality.
"[Chilwell] was in a lot of pain, now he feels a lot better. We have an examination tomorrow to be more precise.
"We hope for the best, hopefully we get away, fingers crossed, with not too bad news."
Tuchel's side face Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon and, as well as Chilwell, they'll also be missing N'Golo Kante, who also got injured against Juventus.
