FIFA 23 has been out for one day and crossing is already 'gitched'

This is going to be a nightmare.

FIFA 23 fans have figured out how overpowered crossing is and it's causing gamers nightmares online.

The latest instalment of EA Sports' hit franchise is available right now for those who purchase the Ultimate Edition.

Everyone has to get used to the game in the first few days of release and naturally, you end up leaning on the same winning formula.

What that's resulted in during the first day of FIFA 23 is an insane number of crosses with the same tactic used each and every time.

No matter where you are on the byline, it appears an outside the boot cross can find any man darting into the box after L1/LB pass.

Whoever is passing the ball when you hold that button continues their run until you use that style of pass again, thanks to custom tactics.

It's seeing defenders arrive in acres of space in the box for an easy header home. That is unless you're an exceptional troll, who decides to score a cutback from it instead.

Fans online have had their say and they're wondering if the 'glitched' crossing will be patched out given how easy it is to rack up the goals.

One person tweeted: "Wtf are these crosses everyone is going to use this tactic."

Another put: "Yeah I'm not even bothering this year."

A third said: "These are absolutely broken I'm making my Pro Clubs guy six foot three."

While someone added: "Insanely overpowered."

You'll be able to test out some of these mechanics with Ted Lasso and his AFC Richmond side if you want. Yes, really.

It was confirmed last week that the popular Apple+ show would be represented in FIFA and Lasso will be a selectable manager in Career Mode.

AFC Richmond will also be available in any league you wish. Lasso got them promoted to the Premier League in season two of the show. Could you be the one to help them stay up?
